Buffer Film Festival 2018:
- Celebrated meaningful and innovative video premieres from acclaimed digital creators
- Featured theatrical screenings, red carpets, industry and creator education, and the 2018 Buffer Festival Awards
Exclusive to the Toronto event, the Excellence Awards of Buffer Festival brought recognition to those creators who pushed the artistic, intellectual,
and technological boundaries of what is now achievable on today's digital platforms.
The formal Awards Gala ran two-hours, announced the award winners, showcased their videos once more, and provided show-stopping entertainment.
We are very pleased and proud to announce that Swoop's short film titled "Lost in Darkness" won the award for Excellence in Cinematography.
Already hailed as a "cutting edge" film focused on coping with anxiety attacks and depression, it proved to be the most talked about film at the Festival.
"Lost in Darkness" will be posted on the Swoop YouTube channel starting Sunday, October 14, 2018.
